Known for it's apple orchards and farmland, Meaford is located just north of Collingwood on Georgian Bay in Ontario, Canada. Meaford boasts some of the best fishing in this part of Georgian Bay. The Big head river empties into Georgian Bay at Meaford. Meaford is home to a Canadian Forces tank training range.
Meaford is connected to Collingwood via the Georgian Trail bike and cross-country ski trail. Snowmobiling is also a very popular sport in Meaford. |
